So, here we are in 2025. AI is doing everything, from writing our emails to, supposedly, driving our cars (still waiting on that one, to be honest!). It's easy, in all this digital craziness, to forget the simple pleasures, the  tangible  ones. That's where fountain pens come in, for me at least. They're a little island of analog bliss in a sea of digital demands. But this isn't just about putting words on paper, it's about reclaiming something inherently human: the fulfillment of creative work done by our own hand. I'm talking about the  feeling  of it, the connection you make with the act of writing itself. And in our world of instant everything, the deliberate, almost meditative act of writing with a fountain pen is a welcome change of pace. It's a chance to slow down, to breathe, and to reconnect with something real and deeply personal. In a way, picking up a fountain pen, dipping its nib into a beautiful violet ink, and letting it glide on quality paper...

Con una serie di comunicati ufficiali ieri Canon ha presentato le novità in tema di Fotografia. Per quanto riguarda il mondo DSLR, Canon  ha presentato  il suo nuovo obiettivo telefoto zoom  EF-S 55-250mm f/4-5.6 IS STM  ( italiano ), adatto in particolar modo alle recenti EOS 70D, 700D e 100D che riescono a sfruttare al massimo la tecnologia STM. Non sto qui a dilungarmi nelle caratteristiche dell'obiettivo e della tecnologia STM. Le altre novità presentate riguardano la linea PowerShot di  fascia alta  e la  linea N . La principale novità riguarda il cambio di tipo di alimentazione che vede l'abbandono definitivo delle batterie AA (note anche come stilo) come si può vedere dalla tanto attesa  SX170 IS  ( italiano ) che ora infatti risulta alimentata con batterie proprietarie.
